Tryfan, Snowdonia: April 2006

Walk: A steady climb up the Heather Terrace from Ogwen Cottage. Once upon the summit rain poured upon us, the deluge maintaining its intensity most of the way down. We quickly discovered the failings in our clothing, especially Terry, sans overtrousers. Nonetheless, climbing Tryfan always seems an achievement. Refreshments: There's nothing quite like Pete's Eats, especially after a gruelling walk like this one. Pete himself served us, noting the volume of food we effortlessly consumed.
