Sandstone Trail: November 2007

We set off from Frodsham and walked to Delamere Forest, enjoying good views towards Helsby and the Mersey despite pelting rain. At lunch on the outskirts of Delamere we saw the sunshine at last, and enjoyed a cold but clear walk though the forest to the visitor centre, where we paused for tea and cakes. We continued for another hour in the failing light to Kelsall, where we enjoyed Chinese pickings at the nearest pub. Return to Home Page
