set off on a blustery sunny March Saturday, and climbed Moel Arthur in the
cold sunshine. Once on the sheltered west of Pen y Cloddiau we found ourselves
much warmer and even lingered for Wendy's packed lunch and the exquisite
views over the Vale of Clywd; in the distance we could clearly identify
most of the major Snowdonian peaks. We battled with the wind on the return
over the hill forts, storming over Arthur to complete the walk before reparing
to Northrop Hall for blazing fires and high tea. Back
