| Our
October walk took in the autumn colours of the woods above Trefriw, which
was colourful and cheerful despite the seasonal damp and chill. We passed
the sublime fairy falls, which were roaring spectacularly. Our walk took
us contouring round to Lynn Geirionydd, where we lunched in the shelter
of the pines and discussed protest marches, incongruously. We returned over
the hill to the old church at Llanrhychwyn, which we explored solemnly.
We encountered a pig on nearby, which liked us but not Doris. Once we'd
completed the walk we headed to the Alpine Cafe, which was a fine as always.
